Interview with author "Mike O" debut novel 1000 Grams

Mike O was born into a two parent home and away from the gritty street life. However, almost as if it were in his blood, he was always fascinated and comfortable with gangster music and movies about the urban lifestyle. He soon found himself chasing the Black American Hood Dream to make it to 1000 Grams.

Along the way he made the terrible mistake of being introduced to Crystal Flakes, the baddest bitch in the streets. Mike O shows us that even when growing up in the suburbs, the streets can still consume your soul. The battle of good and evil is in effect from the first pages of this novel.
