The Luqmans are always talking about how life in our neighborhoods were different when we were growing up compared to today, but we rarely take the time to talk about the specific ways that life was different. On this show, we're going to talk about some of those ways, as many as we can fit in. From weekday and weekend chores to running errands for the elderly ladies in the neighborhood to school memories, we'll talk about all the good things that we have fond memories of from our childhoods, growing up in Camden, NJ (Mr. Luqman) and in SE Washington, DC (Mrs. Luqman), including some of the music that made up the soundtracks of our youth.
And since we'll be talking about how our neighborhoods were different in our childhoods were different, we'll talk a little bit about why our neighborhoods are the way they are today.
