PS I'm a forever type owner and I think black dogs have the most expressive faces and eyes--nothing to distract from them.

I hope nobody (LOL) is trying to make a racial issue out of this!! I have always had a large black dog--several over a lifetime. I love them and I like that people tend to shy away from them. I don't need a mean dog for protection--just a nice big black lovable dog to give someone 2nd thoughts about entering my yard, home, or car!! Great show!

I can relate to the topic of this show. I own a large black female rottweiler. . .and you can't imagine the reactions that people have to her. Even when she was as young as 15 weeks old.

For those of us who hold the black pearls close to our heart it is wonderful to hear that the Lucky Dog Show is giving opportunity to share how important it is to adopt based on a personality and lifestyle match: first and foremost. For those of us who have a wonderful pearlie dog lets advocate and promote awareness for this cause by having a well mannered canine and responsibly interact with the public to create good will. Kudos Lisa!
