Hi, I am Kim West, The Sleep Lady, mother of two and a licensed family therapist for 20 years. I have been successfully helping sleepless parents just like you for over 15 years all over the world.
My sleep journey began over 18 years ago when I started experimenting with gently shaping my first daughter’s sleep by not following the conventional wisdom at the time. After having success and then more success with my second daughter, I began helping family and friends and it spread like wildfire….like an excellent night of sleep for a tired parent will!

Since then I have been on a mission to provide gentle sleep solutions to parents everywhere.
My approach is a gentler alternative for families who emotionally or philosophically resist letting their babies cry it out: for families who tried “Ferber” and it didn’t work, and for families who let their infant CIO at 3 or 4 months but found it didn’t help later. I have also helped families who believe in co-sleeping but find that their children aren’t really sleeping all that well, even nestled snugly with Mom and Dad. And I have helped guide many families who did co-sleep for a few months to a few years but now want the family bed to revert back to the marital one.

I have been sharing my sleep secrets with a nationwide and now a global audience through my personal coaching sessions, speaking events and books. My books (which have sold over 100,000 copies all over the globe with a 95% success rate) provide the step-by-step advice to quickly and gently solve your child’s sleep problems.
