It can be a frightening and worrying time for children who enter hospitals for treatment. The families, who provide the best source of comfort, might not have a place to stay to be by their children’s bedsides. That is where Ronald McDonald House Charities of Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana comes in to provide comfort and compassion by having their houses close to nearby hospitals.
