Mylezia King is a singer-songwriter who was born on April 5, 1995 in Wilmington, Delaware. The 19-year-old was recently nominated at the 2014 Philly Hip-Hop Awards for Best New R&B/Pop Artist. King, who is also referred to as “Mylee” or “My My” sang all of her life with her first solo performance coming in church when she sang “I Love You Lord”  in which she later admitted ‘she was terrified’. 

The Delaware Valley native has currently released five singles including the song “Girls Night Out” that she co-wrote with producer Chuck Finney which can be heard and purchased on ITunes.While she has pinned another singles titled “Love Don’t Live Here Anymore”, “Bitter Sweet” and “Lonely Girl” in the past. King, who studied piano and violin in school, is currently working on her demo project. And she has songs already completed called: “Never Alone”, “Anxious”, “Dying to be Perfect”, and “Forever Love” that’s expected to be released sometime soon.

In addition, the 2014 Concord High School graduate has shared the same bill as VH1 reality star and singer K. Michelle, Mack Wilds and Lee Mazin.  Mylezia has worked with some of the industry’s best producers such as: Grammy-Award Winner Roy Hamilton, who produced Joe, R. Kelly and the “Kingof Pop” Michael Jackson; and, The Dezperawdos, who produced for the architect of the “New Jack Swing” era of the late-1980s Teddy Riley (Former member of Guy, Blackstreet)  and Dru Hill. Also, Ben Ford, Rick Williams, PC Beats, Jaelin Savage, Keith Johnson and the above-mentioned Chuck Finney were other producers that King has shared the studio with.
