I remember when the Gospel of Christ was centered around the cross. The cross is where it all began and where it all ended. it was finished at the CROSS.
What does that mean? There is no more need for sacrafice, no more need for a new savior salvation was done at the cross of Jesus our Christ and HE alone paid it all.
All four tell about the crucifixion of Christ. But each one supplies come details that the others leave out. Jesus allowed himself to be killed and His death was in direct agreement with God's central plan.
People mocked Him and made fun of Him and they still mock Him today... sad. He needed to tak away the sins of this world and yet the world is still wollering in the sins that He single handedly removed from us all as judgement.
The gospel is no good without the teaching of the cross. That is where the gospel began.
In all of our service today are we centering our worship and interest in God our Father around the place where it all began... at the Cross???
