The Ferguson Case - The Aftermath
NO Indictment! This decision was disappointing, but NOT shocking. It again shows that there are flaws in the judicial system. The nation has (AGAIN) seen another Black male killed by law enforcement and NOTHING was done. What is happening? Justice did NOT prevail - clearly.
Have the cops been given a pass card to shoot our Black boys & men at will? How are we going to protect them? Ferguson is very frustrated (rightfully so) and we've all seen that in the media. As we continue to mourn the death of another Black youth, we are also dealing with the destructive behavior of the Ferguson community. The looting and violence is NOW out of control and several people have been arrested. Protesting was expected, however violent protesting is never a good thing nor is it effective. Doing this merely gives the police an opportunity to KILL. Yes, we empathize, however what is violent protesting going to resolve?
