The "Left of Str8 Show," with your host, Scott Fullerton, brings together Fun Chat, and Celebrity Interviews, for a great variety of listening fun, primarily in the areas of LGBT issues, Entertainment, Foodies, and Books. Find us every Monday at 3pm PST / 6pm EST on www.ubnradio.com Channel 1, and every Tuesday, right here on Blog Talk Radio, at 2pm PST / 5pm EST on www.ubnradio.com/leftofstr8. Be sure to subscribe to both at my host pages or on my soundcloud page: www.soundcloud.com/leftofstr8 and check out the Left of Str8 website at www.leftofstr8.com
My first guest is an actor and ally, Benjamin Farmer, who starred in the lgbt film, "The Falls" as a young mormon missionary, who finds he is unexpectedly attracted to his mission partner in rural Oregon. Ben & his wife have moved from Oregon to NYC to pursue their acting dreams and he is going to tell us all about it.
My next guest had the courage with a friend from school to co-found the first Gay/Straight Alliance, at his high school right in the middle of the Bible Belt state of Tennessee. Along with his own personal coming out story of hardship, Josh Dailey is going to tell us about the negativity he experienced in his school from not only fellow students, but their parents, and one in particular that even created a Facebook Page decrying their GSA.
Finally, I welcome back one of my favorite guests, Kevin Hogan, who has created the Healing Stigma Program. After falling in love with his story and his purpose during his first interview on the Left of Str8 Show, I knew I had to find some sort of project to work on with Kevin, and this Thursday, we launch our new radio program right here on Blog Talk Radio, Healing Stigma on Left of Str8 Radio
