Kulture Shake Radio EP.21 with guests Well Mannered Thieves

Joining Mitch and Karen this week are the fabulous and talented Paul Orton and Heidi Cantalejo from Well Mannered Thieves. 

The band are just releasing their debut album “Divide the Light”. You can see them live at their release party "Garters & Guitars" October 11 at the National Music Center in Calgary, Alberta. The night also features The Garter Girls, Postmodern People & Susie Forsyth. 

"The album (Divide the Light) shows the diversity of the group, with flirtations funk songs like “Wink, Wink, Smile”,the dark electronic elements present in “Too Damn Easily” and the deconstructed rawness of “Red Dresses”. Divide the Light is an important first step In the emergence and growth of the Well Mannered Thieves."

We love Well Mannered Thieves and their music. Karen's favourite song on the EP is Red Dresses, and we were treated to an acoustic version of this very song, live in our studio. Fabulous!
