Month three of 2018 is off and running, and a clash between two hard-hitting heavyweights still has people talking. Deontay Wilder's win over Luis Ortiz would still be tops in the boxing news cycle if it weren't for Saul "Canelo" Alvarez's positive test for Clenbuterol. But it gives us more things to discuss this week.

Was Wilder-Ortiz a great fight? Can Wilder defeat the Anthony Joshua vs Joseph Parker winner? Is there anyone alive that fights more like a spaghetti noodle with boxing gloves on than Wilder? Give us time. We'll try to answer these questions, and more.

And that Canelo thing. Is Canelo a PED user? Drug cheat? Did he seriously just eat "tainted meat?" Yeah, we'll try to get to that too.

By the way, there was an HBO card with Sergey Kovalev and Dmitry Bivol too.

But this coming weekend, Mikey Garcia faces Sergey Lipinets on Showtime, while Oscar Valdez and Scott Quigg square off on ESPN.

All of this and more, this week on Knuckles and Gloves Boxing Radio with author/filmmaker Brin-Jonathan Butler and historian Patrick Connor.
