Host Emma Boa-Durgammah is blessed to welcome Jason Hershey, a Christ Follower and Kingdom Worker for Christ who is being used to significantly impact praise and worship music unto the Lord today. Jason and his wife Kimberlee moved to Washington, D.C. in 2005, fulfilling a call to intercession on behalf of the United States. Since then they have been blessed with five children (Cadence, Blaze, Avella, Anthem and Pillar). God has used them to pioneer YWAM, Washington D.C., Washington House of Prayer, and David’s Tent DC.

Jason recently released his page-turning, Spirit-filled, and inspirational book David’s Tent on the transformative work God performed in his heart and how it rendered an opening for God’s Kingdom Work through David’s Tent. Located on the famous grounds of the National Mall within view of the White House, U.S. Capitol, and under the shadow of the Washington Monument, David’s Tent is a place where continuous 24/7 praise and worship music is and will be elevated unto Jesus from September 11, 2015 through November 8, 2016.  It’s estimated that over 100,000 Christians have attended the live events or viewed the live webcasts from David’s Tent DC.

David’s Tent is inspired by the biblical event about 3,000 years ago where King David moved the Ark of the Covenant into a tent in Jerusalem, the capital city of Israel. King David then hired 4,000 musicians and 288 singers to minister to the heart of the God of Israel 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, for the rest of his reign.
