Love God

As the Israelites got ready to cross the Jordan River into the promised Land, Moses called them together for final instructions. These were not new instructions. It was an opportunity for Moses to remind them about what they already knew. More importantly, it was a time to stress what was most important on their journey.

The most important thing they were never to forget was simple: Love God! They were to out their love for God above all else. It is no different today. Everyone who wants to follow Christ must make loving God, telling others about their love for God, and daily showing their love for God the most important thing in life.
