Call to Repentance

Can people really forgive and forget? When someone wrongs a person and then asks for forgiveness, can a person act as if it never happened? God can.

When you ask for forgiveness, God grants it if you are truly repentant. Repent means to feel regret and sorrow for sinful actions and attitudes and turn to God for help to change. It's more than just saying your're sorry. It's a true, heartfelt desire to change.

Today's study is about how God got the attention of a nation. He had sent droughts and crop failures in judgment for their sins. And He also told them that repentance would bring restoration.
