When nonbelievers are asked why they do not embrace the Christian faith, the answer often comes back, "the Church is full of hypocrites." What is most distrurbing about this accusation is that there is often more truth to it than Christians would like to admit. While it is common for nonbelievers to make the less-than-perfect lifestyles of beleivers their excuse for their rejection of the gospel, it does not lessen the fact that many Christians do fail to live consistent lives.
This week's lesson challenges believers to live holy (set apart and dedicated) lives. As you study it, examine your own life. Determine to live in a way that brings honor and glory to the Lord in the middle of a world that is in need of the salvation He offers.
