Asa: Strength in God

In this unit of study, we will be learning from the examples of great spiritual leaders recorded in the Bible. In particular, we will be looking at some of the godly leaders of the southern kingdom of Judah whose stories are found in the books of Kings and Chronicles. At times we can be afraid to attempt what god asks us to do because we feel incapable or unworthy. This week's study can remind us that we have God as our source. he is the One who gives the strength and authority to do what He asks of us. We must not trust in ourselves, our heritage, or our training. We must always remember to look to God and be faithful to always give Him the glory.
