Who Is the Holy Sprit?

In this quarter, we will be teaching about the the persona and work of the Holy Spirit. Many people are familiar with the concept of the "the force" made popular by a series of science fiction movies. Because of this, many people, both Christians and unbelievers, tend to think of the Holy spirit as being comparable to the force presented in these movies. But he is not just some energy or force believers can tap into. In fact, the Holy spirit is important to the spiritual life of every believer, for He is the active agent of God in our lives. And in this first study, we can come to recognize that the Holy Spirit is a Person and real. May the truths that we study today grant us a greater understanding of who the Holy Spirit is and stir us to cooperate with His work in out lives.
