The Fire of God

Last week we examined the Biblical basis of mobilization, learning that God moves through mobilized people, whether they be many or few. This lesson is the first of several focusing on spiritual factors that mobilize the people of God. In this and the next few lessons we will study the fire of God, the glory of God, and the worship of God. Pause now and read again the Key Verses for this lesson (II Chronicles 7:1-3). You will note that the fire of God fell first, then the glory of God was revealed, and finally the people of God entered into true worship. The fire of God, the glory of God, and true worship are all spiritual forces that mobilize and equip God's people for action.
