Fulfilling God's Purpose

Anthony was sure he would enjoy playing golf, but his new hobby was proving more difficult than he expected. he had studied instructional tapes and had watched his instructor hit the ball countless times. His own attempts at hitting the ball were less than successful. He began to think he should have taken up a different hobby. Translating theory to practice is seldom easy. It takes time and effort. The Apostle Paul spent the first half of his letter to the Ephesians writing about God's wonderful redemptive work in Christ and explaining the great benefits of salvation. Paul used the rest of the letter encouraging believers to reflect God's grace and practical ways. We are commended to live in a manner that fulfills God's purpose in the Church.
