The Birth of the King

Why have Charles Dickens' Ebenezer Scrooge and Dr Suess' Grinch captured the imagination of millions, if not billions, of people? Both characters at first hate Christmas, and people want to know how anyone could despise such a glorious time of year. Many of these stories heard during Christmas season have very little to do with the true Christmas story. They ofetn focus on a cultural Christmas. Followers of Christ can ofetn do that too. This study is not aimed at discouraging Christmas traditions. However, you are invited to ask yourself three questions: Am I celebrating the birth of the King of kings" Am I passionately seeking Him in every area of my life? Am I living worshipfully?
