As the Left struggles to make sense of it’s Brave New World, Donald Trump is losing no opportunity to make the building of a Cabinet as glamorous as his Ms America contests. Inviting stalwart conservatives, party regulars and former enemies to meetings, Donald is sexing up the event and creating genuine drama over his team

The latest teaser is James “Mad Dog” Mattis, one of the greatest Marine Corps Generals in history, and a Marine’s Marine. Mattis has been described as one of the most urbane and intelligent men to ever don the uniform, and yet a man who’d sleep in a fox hole in enemy territory just to study the enemy. “Be polite, be professional, but have a plan to kill everybody you meet.”

A surprising and frankly controversial invite has been Mitt Romney, who called Trump a con man, unfit to lead. Mitt may be asked to join the Cabinet, possible at State. This masterstroke by Trump does several intriguing things. First, it causes a former enemy to honor him, turning him friendly. Second, it proves he is forgiving. Third, it harnesses critics in the GOP and possibly uses Mitt’s formidable brains for American good. Although, it does leave an odd aftertaste

In the interim, the Left is continuing to cry like little girls who spilled milk in the dollhouse. The number of serious analysts claiming Trump is a Hitler is surreal. That it happens across the backdrop of a very exciting, orderly and wide-ranging vetting process is humorous

Already, the dollar has skyrocketed to 15 year highs, as Ford holds back on relocating a plant, and the economy seemed primed for an explosive takeoff when taxes are slashed and new programs are unleashed. So where will the diabolically passive aggressive and horrifically anti-growth Obama hide out when the American recovery starts in earnest? Will he really have the cojones to get on his tainted soapbox and lecture Donald and his followers on reality?
