Ted Cruz -- A One-Man Party!!! Or how to get booed of a stage in 1 easy step.
Last night, the third of the GOP convention, Ted Cruz delivered his long-awaited speech for Donald Trump’s Nomination. While he did congratulate Trump for his victory, that was essentially the only mention, stating “I congratulate Donald Trump on winning the nomination last night.” Then things turned troubling for the already unique event.
In the long-awaited and highly charged delivery, Cruz touted constitutionalism. Then he freed his delegates to vote for whoever they chose. But he quite pointedly never endorsed Trump, laying the groundwork to get booed off the stage. Then when Trump suddenly appeared and all eyes were on him.
So what is the result? This won’t end Trump’s bid. But I predict Ted’s self-righteous, obtuse, one-man-party in a 2-party system ends his chances of being President. So I leave you with this question: Is that what God wanted?
