Kidnapped! That's right, I was kidnapped in broad daylight and nobody stopped to help me! Over 34 years ago something happened to me that had YaHoVaH not intervened I would not be alive. One day while walking from my Mother's house on my way to work around 8 a.m. my husband accosted me. While walking down the street with my bible, cassette recording and purse, singing and heading to toward the bus stop. I worked for a temporary agency on. I had been on this assignment for over a month. That morning at the corner of Theodosia and Union Blvd, I looked up and saw the father of my child. I learned from the filling station employee that he had walked for 3 hours back and forth watching desperately to catch me. That day  was the longest  hour  of my life. I'll never forget it. He acted as if he just happened to be catching the bus with me. He tried to keep me from going to work that morning he kept asking me to go to breakfast with him and I kept saying I have to go to work. He finally said, "you are not going to work, I told you I'm kidnapping you today. That day he did. In front of the whole world my world crumbled. He hit me so hard that I lost my balance, shoes flew off my feet, my bible went one way and purse another. I hit the curb so hard I had a concusion. That day I saw white stars right in front of my eyes. He busted the blood vessels in my eye, chipped a bone in my jaw. I know what it feels like to live in fear I know how you feel right now when you've been violated day in and day out by thoughts of fear, insecurities, chaos. That day he picked me up, dusted the dirt, while he dragged me down the street calmly telling me that he might kill me today all because I wouldn't let him see his child. I looked into the sky and utter hopelessness filled my soul that day I FELT like I was going to die! But I'm here today to say to you...I LIVED and so can you.
