Historical serpent worship in Africa was pure and unmixed, claiming it came from the original serpent source. Many tribes and areas of Africa worshipped the serpent in various rituals and deifications. The EBOLA River, which runs through the Democratic Republic of Congo is called the "SERPENTINE" river and its very name reflects the ancient serpent worship names of "EB," "OB," "AUB," "OUB," "OBI," and others.
