Elliot L. Ackerman, Chief Operating Officer of Americans Elect explains how his organization intends to revolutionize American politics by holding the first online presidential nomination.  

About my guest:

Elliot Ackerman coordinates the process for the Americans Elect convention and is responsible for the organization’s political and leadership outreach and national engagement.

Prior to this role, Elliot served as a Marine Corps infantry and Special Operations officer and as an intelligence officer with multiple tours of duty in Iraq and Afghanistan. He is a decorated veteran of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan who holds a master’s degree in international relations from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy and earned his undergraduate degree, summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, in history, from Tufts University in 2003.
