Tom Gay is a life-long business owner and entrepreneur having started 7 companies, building two to over

$80 million in sales. Tom’s firms were twice honored with the coveted INC 500 Award and he was called one of the "5 Best Undiscovered  CEO's” in an "Individual Investor Magazine” cover story and his NASDAQ listed VistaInfo was named a “Magic 25” growth company by the same magazine.

In 2001, Tom and his wife, Patti, went to South Africa where they started a non-profit  ministry organization, Monte Christo Ministries (MCM). Today, MCM feeds thousands of people daily and brings together organizations, churches and universities, world-wide, to relieve the burdens of poverty, apartheid and HIV/AIDS in the Cape Town Area.

In 2013, Tom started his newest venture, a web 2.0 tech firm called Refer.com that is built on his lifelong success in using and teaching relationship selling and referral marketing practices across the world. Refer.com focuses on building trust-based  relationships leading to building a thriving referral rich business and delivers software tools and services to professionals in many industries.

Tom serves on numerous corporate and community  boards and is a frequently sought speaker on the topics of socially responsible business, relationship and referral marketing and leadership development.
