When Peter Geiger was on the show back in October, he made some predictions about the winter this year and specifically about the weather on Super Bowl Sunday. Tonight he comes back on the air to discuss how the winter has been and how he did with those specific predictions.
Geiger is the editor of the Farmer’s Almanac. If he hadn’t become the seventh editor of the world-famous Farmer’s Almanac, he would have wanted to write a syndicated column offering handy, time saving household hints. Luckily for famous hint maven, Heloise, Peter’s fate was sealed from a very early age. His father, longtime editor, Ray Geiger, began priming him for editorship at the tender age of 7. Peter began working under his father as Associate Editor in the mid-70’s, shortly after graduating from Villanova University with a bachelor of science in business administration. He assisted with 16 editions before taking over as Editor in 1994. His father served as editor for 60 consecutive years before passing the torch to Peter.
