State Department Officials Dispute Administration's Benghazi Claims. Wednesday's House Oversight hearing on last September's attack on the US Consulate in Benghazi featuring three State Department "whistleblowers" generated a great deal of media coverage, but not as much as might have been anticipated due to the extensive reporting on the Cleveland kidnapping case. The three network newscasts devoted almost twice as much air time to the Cleveland story 919 minutes and 20 seconds) as they did to Benghazi (just over ten minutes), and none of the three led with their reports on the House hearing.
