Obama's America- Neither Peace Nor Prosperity

The Democratic National Convention concluded not with a bang, but a whimper.  The president's acceptance speech generated no memorable phrases and no buzz.   There was nothing remotely comparable to Clint Eastwood's tour de force. 

While the convention did not uplift, the escapades will be a hard act to follow- you've kind of peaked when you have booed God and Jerusalem.   The peripatetic and very pathetic Sandra Fluke was there to grift for bedroom subsidies.  Not exactly inspiration for the ages!

These antics were a turn-off, but the convention flopped for the most fundamental of reasons- the Obama presidency is a failure.  Join us for a discussion of the week in politics.
