President and CEO of the Association of Prosecuting Attorneys, David LaBahn, returns to Shattered Lives to give an overview of child abductions and how the APA became involved. He will give listeners information on the importance of seeking therapy for the child's trauma and family reunification citing case examples. He will also talk about how he prepares prosecutors to be sensitive to the victimology involved in a child abduction and victim restitution. This discussion is not about Amber Alert Cases, but those who may not qualify for the Amber Alert.

Mr. David LaBahn is President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Association of Prosecuting Attorneys (APA), a national association representing elected and deputy or assistant prosecutors, and city attorneys. The association acts as a global forum for the exchange of ideas, allowing prosecutors to collaborate with all criminal justice partners, and conducts timely and effective training and technical assistance to improve the prosecutorial function.
