Seeking Justice

Tonight Kim Kolton and I will seek justice for Melissa Romero. The 22-year-old was shot to death on April 15, 2006 in Roswell, New Mexico. Melissa's boyfriend gave differing reports of his activities to the police and coroner's investigators at the scene. And the ranking police officer on site told reporters that the shooting was the result of a feud between family members. In spite of the boyfriend's inconsistent statements and other evidence, no arrest has been made. Joan Hughes - Melissa's mother - will join us to discuss her daughter's murder and the status of the investigation.
