During October Awareness Month, we changed the conversation about disease and violence. Instead of dwelling on the cancer and the numbers of women domestic violence wounds and kills, we honored both victims and survivors by talking about prevention and natural treatments. We are committed to continuing this powerful conversation about prevention Self love and wellness.
The pervasiveness of cancer and domestic violence seems so overwhelming, we are often left feeling powerless, voiceless, faceless. We regain our power, voices and faces on the journey to wellness. We are mindful of how many wounded, how many dead and we are mindful also of our responsibility. Each of us must ask: “What can I do?”
