The Qur’an is a revelation sent down from God Most Gracious. Gabriel came down with permission from God to give Muhammad a warning for all mankind. So, who is speaking in the Qur’an? Is God speaking throughout the Qur’an? Contemporary thought says that the Qur’an is God’s actual words, meaning God is speaking mostly in the book. But is that what the Qur’an actually says? Why does the Qur’an continuously say “We” in many verses? When “we” is a plural pronoun, not a single pronoun. For answers to these questions and more, listen to this podcast and check out our latest blog, "Is The Quran The Word of God?" on the Islamic House of Israel website.
