Nate Salley, in conjunction with Blurb (www.blurb.com), provides insight into his life detailing, rites, rituals and passes which he has had to overcome. His work is deeply emotional, it features carefully chosen metaphors, humor and of course faith, love, and struggles, the collection is intended for times of inspiration. Faith. Love.Struggle. is a practical book that persons of all ages and ethnicities can relate.

Nate Salley wrote Faith. Love.Struggle. because, "Poetry shows the softer, sensitive side of me", and now-a-days that is something rarely seen from NFL players. He is attempting to bring readers in to his circle and shed light on the shared experiences. "Poetry has proven to be therapeutic for me over the years. It has allowed me to reflect on my faith, assisted me in my efforts to express love for those around me, and lastly, poetry has given me and outlet in times of struggle", Salley writes as he introduces his personal vision. Nate Salley was born in Ft. Lauderdale Florida. He attended and played football for Ohio State University. While there he was a part of the 2002 National Championship Team and was voted Captain of the 2005 Big Ten and Fiesta Bowl Championships under the leadership of Coach Jim Tressel. Nate was later drafted to the Carolina Panthers in the fourth round of the 2006 NFL Draft. He is currently a free agent and looks forward to a bright future for him and his wife Jasmin.
