John Willis has been an active leader in developing programs for youth, and mentoring young people for the past twenty years within the Jackson community.
Willis is the Director of the Martin Luther King Community Center in Jackson, Michigan, and the Head Men’s Basketball Coach at Jackson Community College. John has over fifteen years of experience working with non-profit, public health, academic and government organizations. He has written and received over twenty-five grants equating to over three million dollars. He has also contributed to the establishment of over twenty nonprofit organizations.
Mr. Willis is an exciting speaker who has been called upon to present at African-American Male Summits throughout the State of Michigan. He is a frequently requested speaker for juvenile detention programs and corrections programs across the Midwest. Willis holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration.
