Phyllis Walker’s brush with blindness became an opportunity to follow her passion and calling as a skilled fine art photographer.  Surgeons repaired her massive detached retina and with vision restored, she left her career in broadcast advertising media and taught herself macro-photography, a source of creative endeavor and personal empowerment in the photographer’s life.

After several years and literally thousands of photographs, Phyllis became a recognized expert in the field.  She uses manual, vintage, 35mm SLR equipment to create stunning close-ups of flowers, butterflies, and the small creatures that inhabit gardens.
