Yes, the caps are necessary! Our beloved George Duke has been in the music scene since the 60's. An educational background that staggers the brain, he was immersed in classics and music composition before he hit the ground running. What he learned from others and what he has given to to others in the way of inspiration and mentorship staggers even further. The one musician on Earth that need make no apology for what he does or doesn't do musically - because he has done it ALL. Funk, Fusion, R & B, Jazz straight or upside down, Pop, Rock, and Zappa-fied :) We're having this celebration of All-Who-Is-George on Monday, the 9th - instead of Tuesday. Why? Because that's when George could do the interview! And because it's important to note that the 12th is his 66th Birthday. A fact that Catalina's in L.A. knows well - because that's when George Duke will begin a three-night stint to celebrate!
