Luis has been one of my favorite new "finds" of the past year or so. Incredibly respected in his birthplace of Costa Rica, we've had him in California for over 30 years now. Luis is a composer, arranger, producer and percussionist - and he has been working for all sorts of endeavors and artists - as well as turning out his own musical projects. "Invisible" is the latest of those, and it's a stunning work of art. The creativity involved in the album and the host of musicians who understand the vision of Luis make it one of the most satisfying works I've heard in a long time. Don't just ask ME about Luis - ask Airto Moreira, Flora Purim, Jim Messina and Etta James - these are just some of the artists that Luis has helped with his expertise through the years. There are documentaries and animated films that have his stamp on it and there's an new album about to launch that has even more of a personal touch - you'll hear about all of when a gifted man visits on Thursday, the first of December :)
