The music video for gypsy-laden single “The Lost Tribe” will be released in late July of 2014. Seattle-based Ransom and the Subset are set to release their debut album “No Time to Lose” on October 7, 2014. Fronted by RanDair Porter, Ransom and the Subset are an alternative rock band full of harmonies, magnetic power-pop chords, and soaring keyboard riffs that build arrangements that keep listeners coming back. When Porter assembled the band, he picked the best musicians he knew; producer and multi-instrumentalist Brian E. King (Guitar/Bass/Keys) and Grammy-winning engineer Ducky Carlisle (Drums/Background Vocals). Together they deliver a dynamic blend of heightened pop sensibilities and modern rock influences that appeal to all audiences.
Accompanied by a 21-piece band, Rory Partin is spreading his genuine passion for entertaining and making great music people can enjoy and most important, dance to. Having traveled to and performed in places such as Brussels, Paris, Prague, San Francisco, New York, Chicago, Toronto, London, Helsinki, and many more, Partin plays standards, new songs, long-time favorites, and Cajun music from his home state Louisiana. There is nothing like Partin out there today. He can move from standards, to love songs to pop with ease and joy. And he has a new album of all of the above out. And he is with us this Friday to tell us how he does it.

With songs on the Billboard Dance Chart and the Global Dance TraxTop 100, she never stops. This summer alone she has released a new single, a new video and a new album. And we will play samples from all of them when we talk with her Friday August 1.

NEW CD FROM VOCALIST CARMEN LUNDY, ‘SOUL TO SOUL,’ SET FOR RELEASE SEPTEMBER 23
Carmen Lundy began working on “Soul To Soul” well over a year ago in a very hands-on manner – literally composing, co-composing and arranging eleven of the thirteen tracks and then playing and recording all the instruments - including bass, drums, piano, guitar and percussion - in her home studio to get a working “feel” for how the music might sound. She then “sweetened” the songs by adding string sounds and other software instruments to elaborate and experiment with the aural mood of each track, interpreting and identifying with each track’s sound individually as well as part of the overall song sequence. On the final CD, Lundy plays guitar on all tracks, piano and Rhodes on many tracks, and drums on two.
“I wrote the music with specific players in mind for each respective instrument,” says Lundy. “My producer and label co-owner Elisabeth Oei encouraged me to reach out to those musicians whose music I have loved and have been inspired by; some of whom I had worked with but never recorded with. I consider these artists specialists on their instruments. These are players who bring a distinctive sound to everything they play andadd another layer of individuality to my original music.” Press from Official Carmen Lundy website
The romance continues: urban-jazz saxophonist Kim Waters will mark his 25th year with the release of “Silver Soul” on September 2.
New York City (10 July 2014): With persistence, patience and passion, romance grows stronger, richer and sweeter each year and for 25 years, urban-jazz saxophonist Kim Waters has written, produced and performed chart-topping candlelight compositions that explore the excitement, exoticism and mystique of love. He will clank glasses on September 2 to celebrate the silver anniversary with the release of his aptly titled 20th solo album, “Silver Soul,” to be issued by Red River Entertainment.
“Silver Soul” is most definitely an urban adult contemporary album with a wealth of R&B vocals and sultry grooves although almost half of the dozen cuts produced by Waters are instrumental numbers certain to woo his contemporary jazz fan base like the highly rhythmic first single with the grandiose hook, “Dreaming Of You,” is already doing. The tune showcasing his daughter Kayla Waters on piano was the second most added track on playlists this week according to BDS Radio. Press from Official Kim Waters websit
George Tandy, Jr's debut radio release "March" is currently ranked #3 on the Billboard Adult R&B Chart. "March" is taking the airwaves across the country by storm and is currently a Top 10 song at more than fifty radio stations, currently in rotation in major markets such as New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, San Francisco, Dallas, Houston, Washington DC, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Miami, Detroit, SiriusXM - Heart and Soul, as well as, The Steve Harvey Morning Show and The Tom Joyner Morning Show. The recent premiere of the official video for "March" has the record industry and airwaves buzzing with intrigue. And, this is just the beginning...
George Tandy, Jr. creates brilliant music that is rich with honesty, vulnerability and raw emotion. He is not your typical church singing choir boy or even a classically trained vocalist or pianist, but his messages are conveyed clearly and powerfully. Fans often refer to his voice as hypnotizing and pure. Each piece of music creates an inner journey to a time and place that is unique to the listener. Whether it is about sex, relationships, or worldly affairs you will feel every moment in the song. You can call it R&B, Folk Music or even call it Jazz. Some call it Soul with a hint of Hip Hop and note his Classical music influences. No matter what you call it, you are correct every time. George personally prefers to call his music "Soulternative." Regardless of genre, his sound is certainly unique and George is determined to gain fans, supporters, as well as, new friends, one song at a time. He believes that music heals people. Soon people all across the world will be proudly stating, "I am TeamTandy!" once they get a taste. Press from Official George Tandy website.
