Mind Training 101

"The mind can rationalize,  justify, or defend whatever one wants to do."  The mind is a trickster.   Without proper discipline it can drag one into all sorts of unhealthy, unpleasant and unsafe circumstances.

The undisciplined mind is easily manipulated, controlled and programmed by external forces that may not have one's best interest at heart.  Many minds in the contemporary world are over stimulated yet undernourished and therefore very vulnerable.

One's mind will reflect whatever it is exposed to.  Whatever goes in, will come out in one's thought process and/or behavior, one way or another.

Choose wisely what you expose your mind to.  Feed your mind that which is healthy and nourishing.  Spend regular time attending to your mind through meditation, prayer, and reflective thought.  The average person uses only around ten percent of his/her thought capacity and stays predominantly on the surface of the mind. Be still!  Go deeper!
