His zeal for both barbecue and the industry has taken Troy on an incredible journey from the Southern Living magazine editorial staff to full-time competitive barbecue chef to a nationally known food personality. He discovered the world of professional barbecue competition while on assignment for Southern Living. From that moment on he was hooked and immediately went home and began preparing to compete on the pro barbecue circuit.

Our musical guest is Skyla Spencer www.skylaspencer.com When you think of Skyla Spencer, you think of a talent that wears many different hats.Skyla sings, writes music, dances, choreographs production pieces and more; She also has experience in acting, modeling, voice over work, most recently wrote a children's book, and is developing a new show. Producing, hosting and performing on her own would be a dream come true for Skyla. Skyla just recently signed a two year publishing deal with DonnaInk Publications. She has a children’s book series slated for release this summer titled, “Skyla’s Hat Adventures”. The first in a series to come is titled "The Magic of Discovery".
