Another Grilliant Ideas Radio Show about some food and YES music this week- and perhaps some Zany fun! Saturday 12/31 at 8:3Oam PST we have a Super show for New Years Eve! Grilliant Ideas and his trusty sidekick, Crispy Dork, will be interviewing Tara Tinsley! Don't miss it!
Tara Tinsley is a Central Valley singer/songwriter who has been compared to artists like Jewel and Jack Johnson all the while maintaining a fresh, unique sound. Since she made the move from Michigan to California in 2002 she has been building up a diverse and loyal fan base. She ...has written over 300 songs and released three albums. Her debut album Come and Go, the follow up Sail Away, and her most recent album Beautiful Day are all available through iTunes. Tara is self-managed and has accomplished many of her major goals up until this point, which is a true testament to her dedication to music. She is currently looking to acquire licensing deals for her music so as to increase the range of media and fans her music can reach. Tara has opened for acts such as Smashmouth, Sister Hazel, Augustana, David Benoit, and Boston, demonstrating her musical diversity. Over the course of her career she has performed at numerous major venues such as the Pontiac Silverdome in Michigan, the Modesto Centre Plaza in Modesto, California and the Angels Stadium in Anaheim, California. She has completed two tours of Japan in 2006 and 2008. On these tours she performed at a string of Navy Base shows, TV and radio appearances, baseball games and other venues. She also completed her first U.S. tour this summer, which consisted of 18 cities in three weeks. Some of these cities included Austin, TX, Nashville, TN, and Chicago, IL. Since this tour she is back in California performing at wineries, festivals and fairs within and around the Central Valley and Bay area.
