I wanted to take this time to say a few things about music. It is a huge part in my life as I am sure it plays a role in all of your lives as well. To Me music is magical in a sense...It can set the mood for almost anything. Music can make or break someone’s day, It can Heal, It can restore hope- spirit -love and pride, It can help us keep our traditions alive as well as our way of life, It is a tool of communication for those who may not be able to speak loudly.
Music is our Peoples' Way of life. It has been passed down to us from generation to generation, it tells our history, our pain an spirit, our happiness, our stories, our words...the Drum is our heartbeat....Can you hear it? Can you feel it?
Sometimes people ask how I can find all the music...some days , I don't... Somedays "The Music Finds Me", and that is a good thing...Lets me know Creator is listening an hearing me.
Sometimes the greatest songs and music are found within our hearts.
So I ask you to please continue to support musicians, Artists, Dancers, and Storytellers-- these people dedicate their lives--to teaching, sharing, gifting, an they keep our music, traditions, spirits ALIVE, a song can sometimes be a persons greatest way to communicate, relate or speak..So listen...
