Albert had an ability to extrapolate from careful observation. He passed along enough pearls that we begin to understand that his mindset, if not his intellect, was valuable and could be influential.  One that scholarship fosters is his thoughts on simplicity.  I often recall the story of the little girl who lived next door to Mr. Einstein. I like to think with the innocence of childhood she asked the (arguablely) finest mathematical mind of our time to help her learn arithmetic.  If you cannot explain your work in the simplist way, you are not fullly understanding your field.  FM is as complicated or as simple as you like. For those who watch other masons inspiring one another, researching and producing verifyable findings, and wonder why not here, I apologetically offer an oblique notion hoping to explain how.  I break the study of FM into four hard files; philosophy, history, symbolism and ritual. Observations show that lodges addressing each can find balance not seen in lodges lacking in one or more files. The pressure to absorb every aspect is replaced by specialized interests.  Ideas are influences not conclusions. You notice this leaves a question- what of spirituality? It is my contention achieving spirituality is the result of that balance.  Dipping in to each subject we find complementarity with the next and the other.  Within a balanced lodge we find conjecture is replaced by verifyable fact. That is the basis of truth. In order for a lodge to perform confidently, it needs to be a place of trust not judgement. Trust is not only the source of confidence but also happiness. For the lodge (savants) to be influential, they only need to be respectful to earn respect, patient to earn patience, humble to be heard.  Since I never claim to be right I rely on your judgement to decide the merit of this thinking.
