Novelty & Distraction

Little needs be added that will compel a man to study the lessons within Masonry. No single aspect captures its beauty. No idea exists that separates masonry from great ideas of humanity.   

Is there a difference?  A group of curious minded men gather in the 13th century. They talk. They find not surprisingly, a bond exists, a means of connecting one with another.  Familiarity becomes  the basis of a profound trust sufficient to make statements of agreed fact that publically were perhaps blasphmous. What they discovered was a means to speculate in safety in a world ready to judge and condemn, only to see where it lead.  Literate men commenting on culture, law, faith, knowledge. Risk takers by convention. Conservatives by nature.  Men who were able to admit their own ignorance, at the threshold of brilliance.   These men knew that the future would be forged by grreat minds and great ideas. Always changing. Always in motion.
