This week's episode has a lot to cover as there was a big event in Las Vegas as two of the most famous Mexican fighters in the sport went against each other plus a few unercard fights that involved notable fighters. We will cover that plus what happened after the main event.
On Friday night, we saw an upset in the sport as Yuriokis Gamboa lost to Robinson Castellanos by TKO...does this pose as a signal to be the end of Gamboa's career?
In the next couple of weeks, there will be a few title fights on slate including Gervonta Davis against Liam Walsh, Terence Crawford against Felix Diaz, Gary Russell Jr. against Russell Escandon, among others. We'll preview some of those fights and what else is in the near future for the favored fighters.
Time permitting, we will get into the upcoming rematch between Andre Ward and Sergey Kovalev and how/why it may not have as much buzz as it should be.
