Deism and Morality, with Dr. Henry E. Jones

What is morality? Why do we need it? Are we born good, evil, or neutral? How is good morality acquired?

Hosts Jayson X and Tim Wingate are trained theologians.  Jayson earned a Master of Theology from an Eastern Orthodox Christian seminary and then became an Eastern Orthodox Christian priest.  Tim Wingate earned a Doctorate in Theology from a Protestant Christian seminary and was the pastor of two Protestant Christian congregations.  They are now Deists who are keenly interested in morality from the Deistic perspective, which does not rely on “revealed” religions but instead bases its belief in God on reason.

Joining them is their guest and fellow Deist, Dr. Henry Jones, author of the book, Psychological Evolution and the Invention of Evil: A Scientific Exposition.  For almost 40 years, Dr. Jones interviewed and treated patients suffering mental illness. Over this period, he evaluated and analyzed well over 2,000 psychiatric patients. His book is the result of what he learned from these individuals.
