Atonement:  A Christian perspective vs. an Islamic perspective.

Sunday – February 14th, 2021 at 2PM Central Standard Time.

One of the most striking differences between Judaism/Christianity and Islam is how sins are atoned for.  How are they forgiven?  Simply repenting to God through repetitious prayers, pious behavior,  and good deeds is not consistent with the Judeo/Christian tradition.  Islam therefore, at its core belief in the forgiveness of sins, is not a true progression of the Abrahamic Faith Covenant.  It ends up being an “unjust” process not previously practiced.

Last week we touched on this while discussing the Crucifixion of Christ. We begin a brief discussion on how Islam, at its core, does not recognize the necessity of what Hebrews 9:22 insists is at the heart of the covenants God has made with mankind.

If you want to come to and participate in this Sunday’s show we are on streaming live on youtube at the Cross and the Crescent Discussion Group.  If you want in on the live stream to present facts email me and I will sent you the link for the stream.

We will begin at 2PM CST (Chicago Time) this Sunday – February 14th, 2021.
