Why is the Iraqi deputy prime minister in hiding, refusing to appear to answer weekend charges of setting bombs? Are rumors that the Syrian government of Bashar al-Assad set off today's bombs true? Are they plausible?

Developments in the power struggle/crisis in Pakistan: are the army trying to mount another coup?

Also the issues of free speech - how can the 57-member OIC, whose countries do not support the frreedoms of non-Muslims, dictate to the U.S. State DFepartment on limits to freedom of speech? The OIC wants "religion" to be protected from blasphemy and insult - but thet only care about ONE religion. Why was the meeting between Clinton and the OIC not held in the open?
