GD interviews budding Author/Screenwriter Jesse Black on "A Touch of Grace," Thursday, 12/12/2013 at 8:30PM [pacific standard time].

A little bit more about Jesse:

Author/Screenwriter writer Jesse Black, formerly known as Jovel da songwrita, is originally from the Island of Oahu (Hawaii). After graduating from high school, he ventured out to Atlanta Georgia in hopes of becoming a songwriter. After writing a few songs, inspiration led in the direction of writing short stories, which resulted in the crafting out his first novel unreleased novel, "LIES I TOLD MY FATHER".

Writing eventually branched out towards filmmaking and he made a conscious decision to turn themes from his novel into a documentary series in a reconciliation effort that would invoke a healing in the estranged relationships of fathers and sons.

Jesse has always found writing to be a therapeutic escape for him -- an outlet of expressing himself. He has authored other literary articles such "THE HEART OF FORGIVING and "SPOKEN MIRROR," and countless others. His short film for "Silent Forgiver," another venture, is also slated for release in 2014.

One of his popular sayings is that, "It was never my intension to have my interpersonal thoughts manifest into creative expression, but since they did, I now know that I must share them with the world."

Whether its film or novel writing he hopes his ambitious aspirations will be engaging to both audiences of film and writing.
